It started with a name: Monty. Why? Because everyone in the gay circuit crowd seemed to be named Brian, or John, or Steve (you get the idea). So a friend took my last name, made a nickname out of it, and dubbed me Monty.
It was part nickname, part alter ego, part "stage" name. Over time, it became the name for the way I saw things—and eventually, it became the name of this brand.
There's really no dramatic mythology around it. :)
